Want2Scrap / Authentique Week and Another Altered Chest! :)

Hi everyone!

Authentique Paper and Want2Scrap are teaming up this week to bring you tons of inspiration using Authentique Paper and Want2Scrap products!

I have been having a blast decorating cheesy ugly chests that I found at the dollar store for cheap, and turning them into a little sumpin' sumpin' purdy. CLICK HERE to see one I created earlier this week and posted on the Want2Scrap blog with before and after photos.

Here is another one that I did for today's cross-promotional post with Authentique's beautiful Lively Collection.

Notice the pretty lock in the picture above, and the key tucked into the flowers below? They are part of the Card-sized Antique Keys and Keyholes chipboard set. The bling is Le Creme Finess Swirls Pearls.

Make sure and visit Aj Otto's blog! She is the other day 3 Want@Scrap designer, and I'm sure she has something awesome to share with you!

You should also stop by the Want2Scrap blog for links to the Day 1 and Day 2 designers projects. :)

Here's a note from our DT Cordinator Karen, explaining how to enter to win some prizes

Then email the fourth word from Authentique's, Want2Scrap's AND today's two designers blogs to: karentaylor1111@hotmail.com with BLOG HOP WORDS in subject line for a chance to win today's $25.00 Gift Certificate! Be sure to leave each a comment to show your love for their fantastic projects! ENJOY!!
Be sure to check back every day this week for more project inspiration! We have an Want2Scrap Prize Pack to give away to one of our lucky commenter's! Also, make sure you stop and visit us as well as our friends over Authentique Paper  at each day this week, prizes and lots of wonderful inspiration coming your way! Also, make sure you stop by the Authentique Paper Facebook Page this week and tell them Want2Scrap sent you!

Hello everyone and welcome to Inky Antic's Summer HoneyPop blog hop!
If you are here from the Inky blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened on to my blog, head on back to the Inky blog where it all starts. :)

The girls have all created projects using some of our new releases.

Here is my card...

I used the beautiful new #11105MC Potted Violets HoneyPop clear set, illustrated by artist Darby New.
I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.
Here is a closer look.
(You can always click on the pictures for even closer detail)

Here is a shot of the inside of the card. Notice the fun purple trim? I made it with the brand new #11103SC beautiful Borders HoneyPop clear set illustrated by Michelle Pearson and the Lilac Honeycomb paper pad.

The blog hop starts today and ends on Sunday, June 24th at midnight Central time. Please visit each of our designers blogs, check out their projects and leave a comment. The more comments you leave, the better your chances of winning one of two awesome HoneyPop prize packages. (Only one comment per blog please)
Two names will be drawn at random next Monday and the winners will be announced on the Inky blog, so make sure and check back to see if you are one of the lucky winners!

Your next stop on the hop is my sweet friend Tex's blog. I bet she has whipped up something awesome to share with you!

Thanks for hopping by! Don't forget to leave a comment! ;)

CardMaker Magazine Blog "He's All That" Blog Hop

(If you are looking for the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog hop, please CLICK HERE)
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to another fun blog hop with the CardMaker magazine blog design team!

If you are here from sweet Anya's blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened onto my blog, you will want to head back to the CardMaker blog where it all starts.

We are featuring cards for guys this month. They can be birthday, Father's Day, or any other occasion, as long as they are masculine.

Perfect timing for me! One of the guys my hubby works with, recently retired from John Deere to spend his time farming. My sweet hubby asked me to make him a retirement card with that in mind.

This is what I came up with....

I used some "found" corrugated cardboard for the plowed hills, and used chalk and a hand cut cloud template for the sky.
The John Deere stickers are Heritage logos from Creative Imaginations.
The tractor on the inside is clip art, and the sentiment was computer generated.
The cardstock is Brilliant White, Straw, and Classic Yellow Green, all from Discount Card Stock.
The Yellow Gold Organza Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I added multiple blank pages because Robert passed it around the shop so others could leave a retirement comment and signature too.
Because of the thickness, I also made a coordinating envelope box to keep it in.

Thanks so much for dropping by today. If you liked my card, I would love for you to leave me a comment before you go. BTW...you can leave a comment if you didn't like it too.  ;)

Your next stop on the hop is the super talented Michelle Woerner's blog. I am sure she has something amazing to share with you! :)

Hugs,
