"Whimsy's" New Hippo plus 5 challenges

Hello All!
Sorry it has been over a week since I posted a card! This has been one busy summer! I am gearing down and getting some cards done so look for them a little more often again! I have lots of new stamps headed my way! I am so excited!



Today's was done with "Whimsy Stamp's" new hippo. I popped his nose and closest foot once and his hind end a second time. Now is that a cute rump or what? LOL!



The cardstock is Bazzill and the DP is DCWV "Whimsy" stack. I took a little extra time and hand sewed some seed beads around the Nestie.



I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Lili of the Valley Challenge #32 – “Animals”
I used a hippo.
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #17 - “Inside Out” - decorate the inside too
I always do! ;)
Pile It On Challenge #8 – “Watercolor” - use watercolors and be in other challenges
I always do! ;)
Creative Card Inspirations Challenge #14 – “Bling!” – use some kind of bling
I used seed beads and glitter on the hippo and DP.
My Time To Craft Challenge #71 – “Floral Frenzy” – use flowers
I have 3 or 6…depending on how you count them! ;)

    Ok now it's time to share some technique. I am having a heck of a time sewing on my cards - what type of thread do you use AND how do you keep your lines so straight? LOL I'm like the drunken sailor of card sewing. I bob and weave, stagger and burp all over the things!!

    I love This Hippo and your little beaded border is so fun. I never think in such minute details. I'm telling you I'm moving in!!! Grasshopper need training!!
