Susanna Boyd from Paper Craft Planet and Card of The Week asked me to host their 3D Tuesday Challenge this week!

My challenge is to create a pin or wearable art using flowers and ribbon.

I have put together a little video tutorial to show you how to make a pin from faux glass flowers but you can use any kind of flowers and ribbon to create your entry!
The pin below is a little different than the one in the tutorial but I wanted to show it to you also.
Wouldn't this be beautiful on a denim jacket?
I used Really Reasonable Ribbon's Plum Velvet ribbon and Ivory Crochet lace.
The papers are Basic Grey and Paper Temptress's Amethyst mica/metallic.
I forgot to mention in the video that I am using a metal melting pot from Ranger industries. They are available at most craft stores. I got mine @ Joann.com.

Hi True - this an awesome demo for some truly stunning flowers - well done and thank you for taking the time to show how it's done.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a pretty voice too and you've taught me something more in listening to you. I always thought my Scottish hubby mispronounced the word 'mauve' but on hearing you I now understand that his American Mother would have said it likewise - I shall stop trying to correct him from here on! :)
