My FabScraps and Helmar Project ;)

Trudy Helmar+Post+header
What do you get when you give a card artist some pretty papers, some fun embellishments and the best adhesives in the industry?
A pretty card of course! :)
Hi Everyone! True :D here. All week long you have been seeing beautiful projects made by the Helmar Hotties, with FabScraps products, and today I'm posting mine.
It would be hard not to make something pretty with the beautiful FabScraps goodies we were given to play with!
Fab Scrap Helmar card
I used a couple of different FabScraps papers for the card base, then cut the rose and leaves out of the same papers. The pretty Filigree Leaf  and the ticket are also from FabScraps.
The rose was made with the Rolled Rose Die from My Favorite Things.
The sentiment is from Heartfelt Sentiments from Clear Dollar Stamps. I stamped it on the ticket and did some sponging and Glimmer Mist spritzing to add interest and dimension. Added some pearls from the Funky Swirls bling by Want2Scrap and stunning White Noelle Crochet Lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and voila...a pretty FabScrap card!
Of course I used Helmar adhesives as always to put it all together. ;)
Helmar's 450 Quick Dry Adhesive has become my all time favorite glue! :)
I do have to show you a funny.
Sometimes artists have one thing in mind when we start with a project then end up doing something else.
I started taking photos of the construction of my card like this one....
Fab Scraps and glue
...and this one.
Fab scaraps Glimmer Mist
Notice the tag in both photos? Totally not on the card! I decided to add a smaller ticket instead so the flower and filigree leaf would be the focal point! I think it worked! :)
Hey...just a reminder...
Helmar's Holiday Hop starts tomorrow! You wont want to miss it! :)
