Hi Everyone!
Today I created a mixed media canvas to share with you.
I used lots of distress inks, pearlized mists, and Helmar adhesives.
I created the canvas background by gesso-ing first then using a distress ink technique with Ranger and Tim Holtz Inks and Perfect Pearls mists plus lots of water. Then I stamped the Stampavie "A Creative Life" sentiment and image on the canvas and heat embossed. (The set was a gift from my sweet friend Allie Gower) I also stamped the image on an old book page then watercolored it. I attached it to the canvas with Helmar Decoupage.
I used Helmar Gemstone glue to attach the tiny little glitter flowers and Helamr Decoupage to add the eggshell mosaic coblestone walk way.
I "blinged" up the sun with some Yellow Ranger Stickles and some Amber Want2Scrap Gemstones.
I would love to know what you think about my canvas, especially since I am really just a card artist. :)
Like the sentiment says though...."To live a creative life, we must loose our fear of being wrong".

This is fantastic! Love the watercolor look, the bright textured sun, the eggshell walkway, the sentiment and that cute house on printed paper. Truly amazing! But, I have to say...you are not "just" a card artist!!! Everything you create is spectacular! ~Hugs, Cheryl
