Digi Release Day @ Clear Dollar Stamps and a New Challenge @ Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hi Everyone!
It's the 15th of the month which means it's double DT duty time for True :)!
It's digi release day @ Clear Dollar Stamps and I created a fun floal digi in both colored and lines only formats, that would be great to give your friends. I also used the non-colored version to create a sample card for today's Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge sponsored by Sakura of America.

My first card was done with my "Garden of Life" pre-colored digi set. You can make beautiful cards really quick with this set. It comes with different colored flowers and 3 digi papers to coordinate, all for just $3.50 for instant download!
The pretty purple cardstock is Discount Card Stock's - Passion and the digi paper and focal image was printed on their Brilliant White.

My second project is a gift tag that was done from my "Garden Of Life" Black and White digi set. I created it for the Really Reasonable Ribbon/Sakura of America "Hand-written Sentiment or Journaling" challenge that starts today. Go HERE for the details and to join in.
I used the fun Moonlight Gelly Roll pens from Sakura to draw my Zentangle on the flower image.

Here is a shot of the inside of the tag...my "hand-written sentiment". ;)

This is what you get when you buy and download the colored version of my "Garden of Life" digi set for $3.50.

This is what you get with my "Garden of Life" black and white version for $2.50.

Head on over to Lori's Clearly iStamp blog to see all of the other new digis released today and find links to all of the digi team's awesome new projects.

Then you can head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings blog to see what the other girls have created for your viewing pleasure and join in on the fun.

Thanks to Sakura of America for sponsoring us with  gel pens to play with and a prize for one lucky winner! There will also be a prize from Really Reasonable Ribbon! That's 2 chances to win! :)

BTW...if you have not signed up for my latest blog candy, CLICK HERE to win some pretty Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and some surprise goodies!  :)

"Shopping Chick" Gift Card Enclosure

Happy Monday everyone!
I am playing along with the girls in the SplitCoast Stampers TLC318 Try a New Technique "Follow The Edge" challenge. We were asked to trim around the edge of the image on the front of the card so that part of the inside shows. I made a tiny little 3 1/2" x 5" gift enclosure card.

I used the adorable "Bouquet Chicken" from Inky Antics because I thought her shopping attire would work great for a gift card.
She is stamped and watercolored several times then popped up with dimensional tape.

The papers and embellishments are from K&Company's Tim Coffey ~ Cottage Garden line.
I doodled around the edges with a Sakura's - Gelly Roll Stardust Glitter Pen.

Thanks so much for dropping by! Hope you have a wonderful week!

Hugs,
True :D

"Fuzzy Ducky"~Another One of My Illustrations

Hello!
Hope you are all enjoying the last day of the weekend!
I get to show you another stamp that I illustrated for Clear Dollar Stamps. It is my "Fuzzy Ducky".
Don't you think she's sweet?
She is available as of today @ Clear Dollar Stamps for just $2.49!!!!  That's right....$2.49!!!!!
Lori has also done up several different card kits with her to help you get some cute "Fuzzy Ducky" cards done up quick.

I punched the flowers then colored them with a Tombo marker to get the exact color I wanted. I then curled the petals a little to add shape then made a faux brad out of the same designer paper that I used on the card. The leaves are also punched (from a pointed flower punch, then cut apart) and colored with a Tombow.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Creatalicious ~ Show Some 3D
The frame of the main image is popped, I have dimensional flowers, pearls, and ribbon.
Corrosive ~ All About Babies
This would make a wonderful card for a new baby
Creative Inspirations ~ Anything Goes
Check!

Paper Play ~ Anything Goes

Charisma Cardz ~ Something With A Tail
(Birds have tail feathers so that must mean they have tails....right?)
I used the polk-a-dot pattered paper.
Paper Sundaes ~ Stitching
Got it!

SPECIAL NOTES: I made the flowers by punching the shapes out of white cardstock, col

" Beautiful Pansy Cup" and a Big Beautiful Bow!

Hello!
On my last post, I challenged myself not to use ribbons or bows. OK...enough of that craziness! LOL!
Today's card is done with elements from 3 of my different Design Teams (past or present)
This "Favorite Flowers" image is from Fred She Said who I had the honor of DTing for quite awhile back. I still LOVE Tracey's images! This one comes colored or not. (2 different sets purchased separately) I chose to color it myself so I could match the image to the AWESOME ribbon I wanted to use.

About that AWESOME  ribbon...It is from one of my newer design teams, Really Reasonable Ribbon. They have the most beautiful selection of ribbons, trims, and embellishments! I chose to use the new Wired Solid Iridescent Blue/Violet and the Royal Blue Swirls Organza. See what I mean about how I matched the image to the ribbon? Thank goodness for watercolors. You can mix the colors for a perfect match!
I used extra thick clear embossing powder on the cup to give it some shine and depth to make it look real.

On to my 3rd DT that was incorporated into this card. My Dear Friend Patricia @ The Paper Temptress had me pick papers for a package that she is featuring this month. It is called "True's Favorites" and right now, she is offering it for 20% off! You get 20 sheets (2 of a couple of colors) for $13.19! reg. $16.49!
Still not convinced to give it a try? Click on the picture of my swatches to enlarge and look at all of that sparkle! That is why they are my faves!!!
I even got to design the label for the packaging! Tehehe!

The colors used from my collection for today's card are Fairway mica metallic, Amethyst mica metallic, and Heavenly White.

Thanks again for dropping by!
Hope you will leave me a little love (comment)  :D

"Birdie, Buttons, and Bow"

Hi!
Today I played with the girls over @ SCS "Free For All" challenge #F4A11, which was to use gel pens on your project.
I used the "Bird-day Hi!" stamp that was illustrated by.....ME!!!  ;) You can see the entire set HERE at Clear Dollar Stamps. I doodled the background, the flowers and on the bird with my Sakura Gelly-roll pens.

The beautiful ribbon is sheer iridescent green/fuchsia that is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used my Bow-easy to tie that perfect double bow. I just Love that thing!!! The pretty handmade buttons are also from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!
Please leave a comment if you have a second or two!
Hugs,
True :D

"Remember The Day's Blessings" Kitty Card

Good Sunday morning to you all!
Hope you enjoy the last day of the weekend!
I am playing along with the girls at Split Coast Stampers this morning and the challenge is a "Featured Stamper" challenge #FS153. Today they are featuring Wendy's (AKA WeeBeeStampin) awesome gallery. How you play is to look thru that persons gallery and find a card that you would like to CASE (copy). You then have to create a similar card making sure you change at least 2 things to make it your own. I chose Wendy's "Dearest Friend" to base my card off of.

The CS is Bazzill and the DP is a piece of scrap...don't remember what company...sorry. ;(
The stamp is Inky Antics. I stamped it twice and popped some pieces.

Here is the link to my Split Coast Stampers gallery if you would like to take a peek.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE doing my highly detailed, complicated cards but it is also fun to do some more simple cards too. Hope you don't mind me sharing both types!

If you have not already signed up for my latest BLOG CANDY....no better time than the present. ;)

Thanks for dropping by!
