Check out my friend Laurie's digis!

Hi everyone!
I have to toot about one of my friends!

I think it is so cool that some of the friends that I have met through stamping are venturing into stamp illustrating and digital stamps! My friend Laurie Wilson has been illustrating designs for Clear Dollar Stamps for quite awhile but she has now started selling digis on her blog also and they are too darn cute!
Her digi shop is called Clearly Delightful. She has some freebies too and you can enter her fun challenges for more!
Here is a card that Laurie did using one of her new digis called "Bird Bath Joy".
Isn't it the sweetest thing?  :)

Pop on over to Laurie's digi blog and take a peek. You will be glad you did!
Make sure and tell her True sent ya!
Hugs your way!

DT call for my friend Shawne's new digi shop "Studio 313 Exclusive Creations"

HI!!!!
My friend Shawne Arnold does the cutest drawings and when she asked if I would like to play with one of her brand new digis.....I just had to! I wanted to help spread the word that she will be opening shop in a few weeks and is on the hunt for her first ever design team! It is sure to be a fun time for the lucky girls that get picked. Shawne is a real sweetheart and is very talented. She already illustrates for Clear Dollar Stamps but is branching out on her own now too. You can see some of her images HERE at the store to get an idea of what kind of cute stuff she creates.

If you would like to apply, head on over to her blog where she will have the details and you can pick up a free digi to use for your try out.

I will be a reoccurring special guest DT. I would love to be full time but already have tons of irons in the fire on top of a full time REAL job. LOL!

I did this card to show off her "Easter Egg Hunt" digi. Isn't the ruffled covered hinny the cutest? :)

Please make sure and leave me a comment before you go visit Shawne and make sure you tell her that True sent ya!

Some of my OWOH winnings!!!!

Hi!
About a month ago I was involved in a huge blog hop called "One World One Heart". It was created by the crazy but wonderful Lisa Swifka as a way for artists all over the world to meet each other by visiting blogs we might never have ever seen otherwise. It was a fun ride and I was a very lucky girl when it comes to the blog candy part. I won 9 candies from some really awesome people!!!! Along with the ones from the US, I got one from Germany, one from the UK, and one from Australia! So fun!!!
It was a blast picking up my mail for a few weeks! Almost like Christmas!  :)
I am still waiting for 3 of them to arrive but will post them when they get here. I didn't want to wait any longer to thank the ones who's I have already received.

These beautiful tags are from Pat Winter.

This adorable necklace is from Nicola Toms

The beautiful silk fabric is from Shashi Nayagam and she threw in some extras too! Some jaw-dropping lace and bead trim! So sweet!

These stunning rose natural pearls are from Beth Bricker. The picture doesn't do them justice. They are AWESOME!

This pretty corsage is from Christen Brown.

I absolutely LOVE this artsy necklace made by Jodi Creager. You should visit her blog and check out her dolls....they are AWESOME!!!!

Thanks to you all! I love and appreciate all of my gifts! It was a pleasure getting to meet you all also!

Day 3 of CDS sneaks and something a little differnt for me!

Hello!
Hope your weekend is off to a great start!
I have been admiring and starting to collect Artists Trading Cards. They are little pieces of art that are about the size of a baseball card. They can be framed, slipped into a card, used in scrapbooking, used as a focal point for a card you create, made into a refrigerator magnet etc.
I am loving them so much that I decided to start doing some of them myself!
When I saw the about to be released "Jesus Paid It All" set from Clear Dollar Stamps, I knew it would make a beautiful ATC!
The stamp set was created by Laurie Wilson and has lots of beautiful images and sentiments that would be great for many occasions.

I am still here! ;)

Hello All,

Just thought I would pop in and let you know I am still here. With the exception of a card that was made in advance and the blog candy winners post that I had to do, I have been MIA for a little while.
Here is a snippet of what my last 2 weeks have been like...
Hubby and I both had the flu. I missed work for a week but was too sick to craft.
My mom was diagnosed with uterine cancer. She had surgery Friday in Tulsa, OK. The doctors think it was all contained but won't know for sure until they get the biopsy result for the lymph nodes that were removed.
Our central heat went out and it is COLD in Kansas my friends!
Yesterday my son Kurt was rushed to the emergency room out of town with a yet to be diagnosed issue. He has some tests scheduled for today. Please pray for him that is is something minor and very curable.
I stayed home from work sick (actually dead tired) today and also have a pain in my side like a kidney infection. I will be downing the cranberry juice and water all day!
Anyhow...I apologize for not being more active with my blog, and my visits to yours, as of late but I think you will understand why. Now I just hope I can get all of my samples done for my design team commitments for the month!
Wish me luck!

Hugs,
True :D

MORE BLOG CANDY!!!!!! Wow, how time flies!

Sorry...THIS BLOG CANDY IS NOW CLOSED.
Hello all!
I was looking back in my archives for a card the other day and noticed that I started my blog on February 4th, 2009. You know what that means?
 HAPPY BLOGAVERSARY TO ME!!!!!!
I have had so much fun and met so many awesome people through my card making and blogging!
There have been true friendships formed. I have had the privilege to be on about a dozen different design teams and have enjoyed all of them. I was honored to be asked to be a VIP speaker at a craft convention in Topeka, Kansas. One of my cards is being published in CardMaker magazine. I am now illustrating stamps for Clear Dollar Stamps. I have 754 awesome followers and am almost at my 50,000 hits mark!
To show my appreciation for all of you and to celebrate the fun I am having as a blogger.....
IT IS CANDY TIME AGAIN!!!!
I usually don't have more than one candy going at a time but the anniversary snuck up on me. Time flies when you're having fun!
This is an odd collection of goodies but I have been home a little under the weather all week and couldn't get out to shop. My craft room is overflowing so I just went shopping in there! LOL!

Click on the pictures for a better look!
I think it will be a fun box for you to pull items out of one at a time. If I can squeeze more stuff in whatever box I put it in, you will have some surprises too!

This candy will run until Feb. 28th.
Same rules as always....
#1) Become a follower if you aren't already.
#2) Post about my candy on your blog and/or put it in your sidebar with the following link back to me.
#3) Pop a quick comment below to let me know you have done the above and would like a chance to win some sweets.

Ok...Let's try this again!..... I need your help! :)

Hello All!
I am inviting you to head over to The Purple Cow and vote in their design team contest. The voting was started last week then the plug got pulled because of web site issues. My friend Karen Taylor's project had a ton of votes but they all got wiped clean! They started the voting again this week. I know some of you already went and voted before but now we know those votes did not count.
There is a $5000.00 grand prize up for grabs so this is a BIG deal!
Of course you are free to vote for which ever project you like. Karen's project is #4 though...just incase. ;)  Please check it out!
I wanted to show you a bigger picture of her album then what they have posted on their site.

You can see even more pictures on her blog. Also, she is giving away some awesome blog candy. Don't forget to sign up for that while you are there!
There is no need to comment on the voting page. You vote by simply clicking the dot beside the project you wish to vote for.
Thanks girls! You ROCK!
Hugs,
True :D
