"Winter's Night" Card and a Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone!

It's the 13th of the month so it's time for another Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings blog hop!

If you found your way here from Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings, you are in the right place!
If you just happened on to my blog, head on back there, because that it where it all starts! :)
You don't want to miss any of the awesome projects the girls have created for your viewing pleasure...or a chance at a great prize from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

This month's Ribbon Club kit has lots of beautiful white ribbons in it. The cool thing about this set is it is great for all of those winter cards, they will work wonderfully into Valentine's day and then you can use them on pastel spring cards. You can always color them to match your cardstock too. I always keep lots of white on hand for that reason!

I broke out with a Flourishes "Forest of Trees" stamp set to create today's card.

I stamped the trees in black, punched a small circle to use as a mask for the moon then used several shades of Ranger's Archival inks in blue to fade in my night sky. I then added a little acrylic paint, and some chunky "snow" glitter and Stickles. I used some Ranger Liquid Pearls and the embellishment de resistance is the pretty white bow and ribbon from RRR December's Monthly Club kit.

The cardstock is Soot, Navy Twill, and Brilliant White from Discount Card Stock.
It was all put together with Helmar's 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.

If you aren't a ribbon club member, now would be a great time to sign up!
You get automatic shipments of 10-15 yards of assorted beautiful ribbons for just $9.00 domestic and $11.50 international!
You can also give your favorite crafter the gift that keeps on giving by purchasing a GIFT Subscription to the  ribbon club for 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months! It's a super idea and your friends will LOVE you for it! :)

This is what the entire December club kit looks like...

Bonnie will be giving away an December Ribbon Monthly Club kit to a random commentor so please make sure and comment on all of the girl's projects to increase your chances of winning!

A Mistletoe Christmas Card

Hi Everyone!

I posted about my new Mistletoe digi stamp earlier,
but decided to go ahead and make a card with it really quick today after all.  :)
Fickle me! :)

It was quick too...print, cut, doodle with a Copic marker, distress with some Ranger Archival ink, add a snippet of some cool Hunter Green Jute Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and voila!
I added some dewdrops to make it dimensional for today's Split Coast Stampers challenge.

The cardstock is Brilliant White, Posh Cherry Satin Sparkle, and Posh Spruce Satin Sparkle, all from Discount Card Stock.
Of course, it was all put together with Helmar's ZapDots, and Helmar Craft Glue! :)

Here is another peek at my Mistletoe digi set available for instant download for just $3.00. ;)

Thanks for dropping by again today!

Hugs,
True :D

English Bulldog Pre-colored Digi Stamp and My Card

Hi Everyone!

If you have visited my blog before, you have probably seen the picture of my fur-baby Zoey in my right sidebar.
I drew an image last year of her and fully intended to use it for my 2010 family Christmas cards. At the time, I had not discovered how much fun it is to color on my computer so I would have had to hand color each and every image. I have lots of friends and family and that would have taken f-o-r-e-v-e-r!
I love love love to color by hand but sometimes a girl just needs a quicker fix! :)
I decided to color her up this year so I could print them out and make my Christmas cards much quicker!
I know there are lots of Bully lovers out there so I thought I would offer my "Christmas Zoey" digi stamp on my blog. Do you have a bulldog yourself? Do you just love bulldogs or have friends or family that have bulldogs? Perhaps your school mascot is a bulldog. :)
This would be a great image for you!
You can make your cards as simple or as detailed as you would like. I included a line art version too in case you want to color your own with whatever special markings you want. ;)

Here is a card I created with the pre-colored version.

The papers are Brilliant WhiteIntense Kiwi, and a gold from the Precious Metals variety pack all from Discount Card Stock.
I embossed the green with a Cuttlebug Swirls folder the used Ranger Ink products to add the gold. See the product links below.
The beautiful Sheer Ruffled Edge Old Gold ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

This is what the set looks like.

If you would like to purchase it, please click the button below.
You will receive a zipped file with both JPEG and PNG files within 24 hours of your payment clearing. (You will probably get it much sooner then 24 hours though, depending on when you order.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop and My 10 Minute Christmas Card!

You all know how us card artists are kind of "expected" to hand make all of our Christmas cards right? Well...I find it hard to get enough made the way I usually make cards. Some of mine take hours!
I created a fun little card in just under 10 minutes by embossing a background, using some fun ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon's October Monthly Ribbon Club Kit, and adding a big Christmas sentiment from Inkadinkado's Christmas Silhouettes stamp set.
Here is my card...

I used Discount Card Stock's -Posh Red Linen and Brilliant White.
If you aren't a ribbon club member, now would be a great time to sign up! With the holidays coming up I know you can use this fun set. BTW...I have seen a sneak peek at the November set and it is STUUUUUNNNNIIIINNNGGGG!  {{Said in my best Oprah voice}}
You get automatic shipments of 10-15 yards of assorted beautiful ribbons for just $9.00 domestic and $11.50 international!

This is what the entire October club kit looks like...

My Hand-drawn English Bulldog Christmas Card ~ Week 2 as a GDT for the Paper Take Weekly challenge.

Hello All!
This is week 2 to for my Guest Designer Spot over at Paper Take Weekly.
The Challenge this time is "Cut It Out!"
They want you to use die cuts, punches, fussy cutting, etc.
How easy is that!?!

For my card this week I didn't use a stamp. I drew a picture of my dog Zoey to use for some family card exchanges. Isn't she a sweet little thing?  ;)

I love using my original artwork instead of stamps. I just don't often have the time to do it.

The papers are from Bazzill and The Debbie Mumm Harvest and Holiday stack.
I used assorted Nestabilities and the holly was punched to qualify it for this weeks challenge sample.
The berries are white half pearls that I colored with a red Copic marker.
I did the sentiment on the computer with Adobe Illustrator.

Thanks so much for dropping by! I hope to see one of your creations over at PTW this week.
Come on....ya know ya want to!  ;)

Hugs,
True :D
