SCS "Ways To Use It" challenge card and an announcement

Hello!
Today I made a really quick card to play along with the girls @ Splitcoast Stampers.
The Thursday's "Ways To Use It" WT292  "Do You See What I See?"challenge is to use embellishments in a manor different then they were intended.
I turned a Prima flower into a 3D tutu for this sweet little House Mouse ballerina.

The papers are Basic Grey's "Sugar Rush" and I also used Ranger's Fruit Punch Stickles, Wizard with Scalloped Nestabilities.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I also have some happy news to share. I have been chosen to be on the Creative Charms design team! I can hardly wait to get my crafty little hands on all of the fun embellishments Midori has in her shop!
Why not go check it out now? ;)
Thanks for dropping by!
Hugs,
"TuTu Sweet" House Mouse!
Hello All!
Before I show you my card, I would like to remind everyone that has not had a chance to join us in on our August, Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings blog hop, that it is not too late! There are lots of goodies up for grabs on all of the girl's blogs and lots of inspiration, so make sure and hit them all! To get started, CLICK HERE.
No time for the hop? You can still take a second to sign up for my blog candy by clicking HERE.
WAIT!!!!
Don't forget to check out the card I posted today, and leave me some love first!  ;)
I broke out with one of the very first stamps I ever bought. This little darling House Mouse still makes me smile! ;) I stamped her tutu again and popped the bottom of it out, and added some Stickles for a little extra interest. The papers are Basic Grey's Sugar Rush stack and the Heavenly White cardstock and Fairway Mica Metallic are from The Paper Temptress.
I just absolutely LOVE Really Reasonable Ribbon's Organza Dots ribbon! It really adds a touch of sweetness to whatever you use it on! I used the Kiwi Dots for this card. Don't ya think it is tutu sweet? ;)
The perfectly tied bow was made with the Bow-Easy tool. It is one of my must have tools! You couldn't pay me to be without it now!  ;)
Thanks for dropping in on me! Hope your weekend is full of fun, family and crafting!  ;)
Hugs,
True :D
"Squeek in Apple"My Original Artwork Card Plus Lots-o-Challenges! :)
Hello!
I decided to work the digi I created yesterday into a card. I happened to see several challenges the image would work nicely in to I kicked it into high gear to get it done before the entry deadlines. I think it turn out kind of cute! ;)
The CS is Bazzill and the DP is from Pink Paislee. The sentiment is from Penny Black's "Critter Party".
Here are the challenges I am entering this card into...Brace yourselves! LOL!
Sketch and Stash Challenge #20 - Use provided sketch and some kind of stash.
I followed the sketch but used a rectangular frame around my "round" image. My stash is that pretty DP. I bought it before last Christmas with some other DP but didn't use it. I went looking for a DP with colors called for in the next challenge and viola!
Creatalicious Challenge #2 - make a creation with this colour combo pink or plum, with burgundy and green. Also add some sort of lace, ribbon or fibre etc.
I used pink, burgundy and green. There is also a green ribbon.
Digital Tuesday Challenge #26 - Heart to Heart - Use a heart somewhere on your creation.
I drew a heart shape hole in the apple and Squeek's nose is also a heart. Yes it is a digi...one of mine! ;)
Creative Card Crew Challenge #30 - All That Sparkles
I added a green jewel to the sentiment corner, the leaf has glitter and the apple sparkles and shines!
ABC Challenge - E is for Embossing
I dry embossed the pink CS with a Cuttlebug folder and embossed around the edge of the main image frame.
Charisma Cardz Challenge #39 - Decoupage
I decoupaged my main image up to 3 layers in spots
Stamp Something Challenge - Stamp something with apples, teachers, or school
I drew a digi apple. The sentiment is a stamp from Penny Black.
Daring Card Makers Challenge- Folding up!
I folded the corner down to stamp the sentiment.
Penny Black Challenge #69 - Autumn Breezes
I associate crispy red apples with fall because of harvest time and Halloween. The image is my original artwork but the sentiment is from Penny Black's "Critter Party" set.
One Stop Craft Challenge #49 - Autumn Inspiration"
I associate crispy red apples with fall because of harvest time and Halloween.
Secret Crafter Challenge #52 - Celebration
Mine is a birthday celebration.
Gingersnap Creations Challenge - GC22 Spicy Supply Challenge - Bling
I added a gemstone and sparkle.
Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge - Punched Shapes or Die Cuts
I used my Nesties
Easy Breezy Kewl Colors Challenge - Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Rose Red, Rich Razzleberry.
I don't have these SU colors but played along with similar colors.
Pile It On Challenge #18 - 3 Dimensional and other challenges.
Mine is...and I think I got the other challenges covered! LOL! ;)
Wheew! That was a lot of work!
Please leave a comment if you have a second to spare. Thanks so much!
Hugs,
True :)
"Oh, for the love of CHOCOLATE!" Challenge
SCROLL DOWN FOR THE BLOG CANDY BLOG!!!
Hi!
I know….you saw the word CHOCOLATE and it peaked your interest. Me too!
Over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge, this week’s is anything to do with chocolate.
I had these cute little House Mouse chocolate lovers already painted up. I did a bunch of them about a year ago and did not use them all. Yes, I have quite a large stash of painted images! Painting is my favorite part and I go a little overboard sometimes!
When I saw what their challenge was, I knew instantly what I was going to make!
This is a candy bar wrapper. It is the perfect size for a 3.5 oz. Lindt bar…just happens to be my favorite! Hmmm.. how did that happen? .:)
The papers are Papertrey and K&Company.
I would love it if you would leave a note and let me know what you think. By the way…what is your favorite chocolate?
