Welcome to Day 3 of CDS Product Parade! Things Are Getting a Little Nutty! :)

Hi Everyone!
I get to show you 2 more stamp sets that I illustrated for Clear Dollar Stamps today!
My first card was done with my "Squirrel Chatter" set.
I used Discount Card Stock's - Midnight Black, Oatmeal Hopsack, and Brilliant White.
The pretty Brown Swirls ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The image is colored with watercolors.

The set is just $7.99!

The second was made with my "My Little School Bus" set.
I used Discount Card Stock's - Bazzill Raven Stripe, Brilliant White, and Posh Red Twill.
The apples are cut from a piece of The Paper Studio's - Apples On Black paper.
The image was water colored.
True's Tip #1...The reds were all done with a red fine tip Sharpie marker. They really work well for vibrant reds!

This set would be great to make cards for teachers, bus drivers, or a cute lunch bucket surprise note for the kiddos! It would also look awesome on a "Back to School" or "School Days" scrapbook page!  ;)
True's Tip #2...Buy this set for a small teacher's gift. It would also be a great stamp for them to use to let students know they have done a "Great Job!". The teacher could stamp it on the kid's good papers and then the child could color it in. What a great insensitive to to a good job!
You could make the teacher a card with the set, then slip it inside of the card as the gift. I think any teacher would be thrilled!
It's just $5.99!  :)

If you missed my peeks from yesterday, scroll down one post.

If you would like to have fun on a blog hop and have a chance at winning some Discount Card Stock papers or The Twinery Twine, scroll down two posts.

Scroll down a little further and you can check out my big news! ;)

After all of that....head on over to the Clearly iStamp blog and check out all of this month's other releases and the pretty projects the girls have made with them!

Thanks for dropping by!

Hugs,
True :D

Happy Hopper-"Sweet Birthday" Card SC262, CDBC1 and other challenges

Hello All!
I thought I would play with the girls @ Split Coast Stampers again today so I am entering their sketch challenge #SC262. It is an adorable sketch and I just so happened to have an extra "Happy Hoppers" image already painted up from a year or so ago. You see...coloring is my favorite part so when I first started stamping I did all of my images in multiples. I have a couple of drawers full of images needing a home. LOL!
This one was just perfect for today's sketch!
It also fits perfectly into the brand new "Clearly Delightful Blog Challenge #CDBC1" which is "Bunny Rabbits",  that my friend Laurie is satating up. Hope you will join me in helping her get the first one rolling! I think it will be tons of fun and this month's challenge participants all get an adorable digi bunny stamp just for playing along!

The CS is Bazzill-Swiss Dots and the DP is K&Company's "Wild Raspberry".
I popped the side of the barrel and some of the apples once then popped a few apples again. I then added lots of Crystal Effects to make them shine.

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
ABC - "L" is for...Layering
Lots and lots o' layers ladies!
Charisma Cards- Celebrations
Happy Birthday!
One Stop Craft Challenge - Something that begins with a "B"
Bunny...bushel basket...birthday!
Corrosive - "These are a few of my favorite things"
Use 2 of your fave embellies - Mine are ribbon and gems
Stamptacular Sunday - Party Time!
Create something for a party - Does a birthday card count? :)
Crafty Angels- Recycle
I pulled an old colored image from my forgotten started projects
Pile it On -Anything Clear + other challenges
I used clear gems and Clear lacquer on the apples
Creative Card Crew -Distressing
I used a distressed nestie and ink to distress the edges
Everybody Art - Favorite color combo
I love GREEN and any other color! LOL!

If you have not already signed up for my latest BLOG CANDY....no better time than the present. ;)

I would love it if you left a comment...I adore them!

"Squeek in Apple"My Original Artwork Card Plus Lots-o-Challenges! :)

Hello!
I decided to work the digi I created yesterday into a card. I happened to see several challenges the image would work nicely in to I kicked it into high gear to get it done before the entry deadlines. I think it turn out kind of cute! ;)
The CS is Bazzill and the DP is from Pink Paislee. The sentiment is from Penny Black's "Critter Party".

Here are the challenges I am entering this card into...Brace yourselves! LOL!
Sketch and Stash Challenge #20 - Use provided sketch and some kind of stash.
I followed the sketch but used a rectangular frame around my "round" image. My stash is that pretty DP. I bought it before last Christmas with some other DP but didn't use it. I went looking for a DP with colors called for in the next challenge and viola!
Creatalicious Challenge #2 - make a creation with this colour combo pink or plum, with burgundy and green. Also add some sort of lace, ribbon or fibre etc.
I used pink, burgundy and green. There is also a green ribbon.
Digital Tuesday Challenge #26 - Heart to Heart - Use a heart somewhere on your creation.
I drew a heart shape hole in the apple and Squeek's nose is also a heart. Yes it is a digi...one of mine! ;)
Creative Card Crew Challenge #30 - All That Sparkles
I added a green jewel to the sentiment corner, the leaf has glitter and the apple sparkles and shines!
ABC Challenge - E is for Embossing
I dry embossed the pink CS with a Cuttlebug folder and embossed around the edge of the main image frame.
Charisma Cardz Challenge #39 - Decoupage
I decoupaged my main image up to 3 layers in spots

Stamp Something Challenge - Stamp something with apples, teachers, or school
I drew a digi apple. The sentiment is a stamp from Penny Black.
Daring Card Makers Challenge- Folding up!
I folded the corner down to stamp the sentiment.
Penny Black Challenge #69 - Autumn Breezes
I associate crispy red apples with fall because of harvest time and Halloween. The image is my original artwork but the sentiment is from Penny Black's "Critter Party" set.
One Stop Craft Challenge #49 - Autumn Inspiration"
I associate crispy red apples with fall because of harvest time and Halloween.
Secret Crafter Challenge #52 - Celebration
Mine is a birthday celebration.
Gingersnap Creations Challenge - GC22 Spicy Supply Challenge - Bling
I added a gemstone and sparkle.
Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Challenge - Punched Shapes or Die Cuts
I used my Nesties
Easy Breezy Kewl Colors Challenge - Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Rose Red, Rich Razzleberry.
I don't have these SU colors but played along with similar colors.
Pile It On Challenge #18 - 3 Dimensional and other challenges.
Mine is...and I think I got the other challenges covered! LOL! ;)

Wheew! That was a lot of work!
Please leave a comment if you have a second to spare. Thanks so much!
Hugs,
True :)
