Hi Everyone!

I checked in on the girls at Split Coast Stampers girls this morning and they have a fun "Crossing Strips" challenge going where they want us to use strips of paper. I had the wonderfully vibrant Indy Bloom  from Basic Grey already out on my work table for a top secret project  ;) so I decided to used some of it for my strips.

 I also punched the flowers from it. It's a very simple card but sometimes those are the funnest! :)
I inked all of the edges and stamped the sentiment with Ranger Ink's - Monarch Orange and Aqua Marine Archival Ink Pads.
The brad is from my stash. I know it's Basic Grey from a while back but can't remember the collection. ;(
The pretty Mauve Satin ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The card base is Brilliant White from Discount Card Stock.
The shinny Sage Green Pearl is from Want2Scrap.

OK....on to the fun part!

Hello True, I just came upon your sight via some YouTube tutorials on coloring with PrismaColor Colored Pencils. I think I may have seen your tutorial on that darling crow somewhere else...don't remember. Your coloring is amazing. I think I was asbsent in kinder when they taught that skill, because I sure don't have it!!

My Future-Daughter-in-love's Wedding Shower and a Blog Candy Winner!

Hi Everyone!

Thought I would share a quick video of my son's fiancée Kristin's wedding shower that I had for her yesterday.

BTW...in the video, it sounds like I say "NOT the flowers" but I actually said "LOTS of flowers". That darn Kansas accent! :) I really did make them! :)

Hubby and I bought her the "party hat"/tiara so she would feel like a princess.

I also wanted to share a photo of my son Kurt and our fur-baby Zoey, chillin' after the party.

Zoey is so funny! She doesn't even look like a dog when she lays on her back like this. Her eyes and face just get covered up with wrinkles so much that she looks like some kind of unidentified creature. LOL!
She is actually a very beautiful 75lb. English Bulldog. :)
