Hello All!
Just a quick post today to show you the card I made for a Split Coast Stampers challenge.
The challenge #TLC301 is to make a card with a faux tile background but I didn't pay attention to the "background" part. LOL! I am going to share it anyhow because it was a very fun project.
I used the tutorial from Julie's blog.
That beautiful stamp is from I Brake For Stamps and it is called "Happy Holidays Poinsettia".
The beautiful ribbon is Really Reasonable Ribbon's Gold Swirls.
That pretty brad is Creative Charm's White Vintage Marble brad that I colored with a Copic to get the color I wanted.
The image is watercolored then sponged around the "tile" edges

Trudy this is such a stunning card! It has a wonderful vintage feel to it, I can't imagine it doesn't fit the challenge but do understand how these things can take on a life of their own once you get going!
