Well, we had a wonderful weekend (I'm just a little late posting). My son and grand-son got baptized!
I made a cake for their reception. Thought I would share it here.
It was 12" x 18" x 2", half choc and half vanilla, and it's white on white with metallic silver sides and accents and gunmetal beads in the cross with eatable glitter that you can't see in the photo, but really sparkly in real life. I got lots of compliments from the church members and lots of people who wanted to start buying cakes from me. Sure wish Kansas would hurry up and OK cottage industries so I could bake and sell from home! :)
Here's a picture of my adorable grandson in his Baptismal outfit.
He's such a cutie patootie! :)
