My Very First Gingerbread House! :)

Hi Everyone!

I have always wanted to make a gingerbread house, but for whatever reason, never had....until now. I didn't want to go out and buy lots of candies to decorate it because I would have just ended up eating most of them, so it is sparsely decorated with just royal frosting, but I think I like the simplicity.

I drew out templates for the birdhouse and free-hand cut the birds and trees.

I did most of the detail before I assembled the pieces.

And a final set of photos for pinning. :)

If you have never made one, you should give it a try.
I'm now hooked! :)

Thanks for dropping by!

This is simply amazing. I love how you kept it simple. The icicles and the little bird make is magical and elegant at the same time.

It is beautiful, I always wanted to make one True, and I once bought a kit for the family but nobody wanted to make it. I can't eat them so I should make a non edible version really!

I found you through Sweetopia's facebook page. I adore your winter cookies and this is one of the most cutest gingerbread houses I've seen yet. I love the little cardinal. Merry Christmas!
