Coloring Fur With Colored Pencils Tutorial

Hi Everyone!
I got several comments and some emails about how I colored this card that I posted the other day.

I created a video to show you how to get this effect with colored pencils and OMS.

I started with my newest digi stamp set "Purrfect Day", that is available now @ Clear Dollar Stamps for just $2.50 for an instant download.

And....here is the video. Hope you like! :)

Thanks so much for dropping by. I would love to know if you found this tutorial helpful and if you would like more.

Hugs,
True :D

True, that is a wonderful tutorial and I love to see you work. I have the Prismacolors and love to use my Gamsol with them. You make doing the cat image look so easy with explanations making the technique so very understanding. That cat is so adorable and the fur is just perfect. Having had no art training at all, I love to see tutorials such as this and hope you will do many more. Thanks so much.

What a neat technique, Trudy! I've used Gamsol for years, of course, but never really experimented with texture. Now I will have to try. Thanks so much for your great tutorial. :-)

Oh Wow! What a fantastic tutorial. Fur can be so difficult to color it is great to see the coloring "in action". Thank you so very much!

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I, too, like to color, but have tended to stay away from using more than one color in an area. This gives me the courage to branch out!

True, thank you ever so much for the video tutorial as I'm a visual person. I have Prismacolor pencils but never knew how to really use them correctly. Thank you again, and load of love is sent your way. Love, Audrey
