A Layout With Basic Grey Products ~ "♥ Our Zoey"

Hi Everyone!

I saw the sketch on the Basic Grey blog the other day and just had to play along!
I used elements from the Indy Bloom and Picadilly Collections. I also used some Indy Bloom Accordion stickers.

Remember, you can click on the pictures for a closer look! :)

Here's the sketch we were asked to follow.

We just love our Zoey to pieces. The main picture is the look she has on her face 90% of the time. Her tongue is always hanging out! tehehehe!

The white background paper is Bazzill White Prismatic from Discount Card Stock.
The pretty ribbons are from the Glitz Assortment @ Really Reasonable Ribbon.

As a card artist, I know that layouts aren't my forte' but practice makes perfect right? :)

Please leave me a bit of love today! :)

Hugs,
True :D

Another Layout! Zoey is My Pretty in Pink Prima Baby! :)

Hi Everyone!

Before I show you my project, I would like to remind you of a couple of things going on over at our Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings blog
For one, we have a fun challenge that started a couple of days ago, and we would love to have you play along with us. The theme is "Pink and Brown"...with ribbon of course!  ;)
Also, don't forget to sign up for the awesome "Summer Blog Candy" that Bonnie has up for grabs! :)

OK...on to my layout...
You know...I bet 99% of my projects have ribbon somewhere on them (I just LOVE the stuff) but...I don't always want a bow, so I will just sneak a dab in somewhere else.
Look at my layout below and see if you can spot the ribbon right off the bat! :)

The pretty textured catdstock is White Groove from Discount Card Stock.
The designer paper is Prima's - "Sweet Fairy" stack. The flowers are also by Prima.

Did you spot the ribbon? I used a piece of pretty Rose Diamond Satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon, as one of my "designer paper" strips. It adds a touch of extra texture and shimmer to the layout.

I thought I would also share the picture of my Zoe Babby before I "Photo Shopped" the chain out of the picture. I HATE chains but this photo was taken the first day we brought her home and our yard isn't fenced. We didn't want her taking off when we let her out to do her business. ;)
Anyhow...we no longer have to use the chain and I don't think she would ever think about running away. I think she loves us as much as we love her.
Photo Shop is a wonderful program! I just copied some of the grass and painted over the chain. I tell ya...the things we can do now a days!  ;)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
True :D

Showing An Old Photo Some Well Deserved Love Today! :)

Hi Everyone!

Just a really quick post today to share a project and to wish you all a happy Good Friday! :)

Now, I'm not really known for scrapbook pages but every now and then, I'll be throwing one at ya. :)
Today I wanted to share this 12" x 12" layout that I did of my son Kurt and his best friend (at the time) Samantha. They grew up together and Sam lived to the ripe old age of about 14. They were friends for a long time. :)

The puppy dog image I used is my "Sentimental Puppy" digi that is available @ Clear Dollar Stamps for just $2.50 for an instant download!
The papers are from DCWV "Pets" stack.

The digi comes with lots of cute sentiments!

Thanks so much for dropping by!

I used the Wedding Cake stamp illustrated by me. ;)

The papers and embellishments are from K&Company's ~ Jubilee line.

I hope you will head on over to Lori's Clearly iStamp blog and see the other new releases.
There are lost more samples to drool over too that the rest of the team have created for you. Remember to click on the links to their personal blogs to see what else they have been up to!

The 1st Ever Layout On My Blog & RRR Blog Hop

Hello All!
It is the 13th of the month which means that it is time for another fun Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings blog hop!
If you came from Cheryl's sweet blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened on to the hop here, you will want to start back at the beginning at RRR design team blog.

Yes....it's a scrapbook page and No...you are not on the wrong blog! LOL!
I am sharing my first ever layout on my blog. It is simple but I wanted my beautiful niece Emily's picture to be the focal point.

This is one of her senior pictures. Isn't she beautiful!?!

For the hop today, I used a ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon's - March Ribbon of the Month Club package. Bonnie picked out lots of pretty purples and whites  for this set.  :)

Here is a closer look at the ribbon treatment. I used Scor-Tape and scrunched it. I did a VIDEO some time back showing how easy it is if you want to check it out a little bit later.

The pearls are White Gradient Pearls from Creative Charms and I colored them with Copics to match.

The papers and most of the embellishments are from K&Company's Tim Coffey ~ Cottage Garden collection. The pretty flower is Prima and the green cardstock is Bazzill Swiss Dots.

Your next stop on the hop is the wonderful Tilly's blog.  ;).

Remember to leave a comment on all of the hop blogs for your chance to win some beautiful ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon!

Just a reminder....Really Reasonable Ribbon is having a full design team call right now.
If you love ribbon and would like to get lots of it free every month...you should check it out.
Click HERE for all of the details.....after you leave me some love that is!  ;)

I would love to here what you think about my first posted layout...and please be nice...I'm a newbie! ;)

Thanks so much for dropping by!
