Girly Grung Tag

Hi Everyone!
I got some HaPpY MaIl yesterday from Stampers Anonymous and couldn't wait to play with it!
Today over @ Split Coast Stampers, the WT362 challenge is "Bountiful Borders" we were asked to use border punches...so I did!
I created this glamed up girly grunge tag using a Fiskars boarder punch on both sides of the green panel and to make the rosettes.
Since I was using so much Tim Holtz product, I just HAD to make a tag. KWIM?  :)

I used Tim Holtz - brand new Stamper's Anonymous #CMS110 Stuff To Say and #CMS075 Ultimate Grunge stamp sets.
The designer paper is from the Tattered Time stack by DCWV.
The pretty pearl bling is Maxxi Girl Pearl Swirls from Want2Scrap.
The pretty hand dyed silk is Moon Goddess from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The Penelope Natural Crochet Lace on the rosette is also from RRR.
I used Helmar Acid Free Glue to put the papers together and Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots to add the rosettes and buttons.

Other products used are:
Tim Holtz Distress Stains in Walnut, Evergreen Bough and Vintage Photo
Martha Stewart butterfly punch
Ranger Ind. Perfect Peal mists in Perfect Pearl and Perfect Copper
Ranger Ind. Clear Embossing Powder
Buttons, jute, embroidery thread and clear glass glitter

Here is a peek at the rest of the HaPpY MaIl I got from Stampers Anonymous. Look for lots more SA projects! :)

I would love to hear what you think about my tag...especially since I have not done very many of them. :)

Have a great day!

Happy Mail and a Quick Multi Company Shout Out!

Hi Everyone!

I always love giving credit where credit is due, so I need to give a shout out to a few companies.
They, and my delivery guys, have been good to me again this past week!

I got a box chalk full of goodies from K&Company yesterday that made my mouth water as I removed each item that they picked out for me to use on some special projects I'm working on.
I couldn't have picked better if I had done it myself!
Just look at these wonderful collections!

DCWV sent me these fun 12"x12" paper stacks.
The hard part is going to be deciding which ones to use first!  :)
They picked out an assortment that ranges from fun and funky, to grungy, to sophisticated, to sweet!

DCWV doesn't sell direct so if you see something you like in the picture below, you can find it ~~~~~HERE~~~~~

I got these wonderful markers by winning a challenge over at
I'm in love with them already! :)

Thanks to these wonderful companies for their very generous gifts!
I promise I will put them to good use!  :)

Hugs,
True ;)

Double DT Duty Today! A RRR Challenge and a CDS Blog Hop! :)

Hi Everyone!
I have two cards to share with you today for a CDS blog hop and another for a Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge.
I will start with the hop.
It is a Clear Dollar Stamps blog hop with the theme "Lets Hear It For The Boys".
If you are here from Lori's ~ ClearlyiStamp blog, you are in the right place! If you just happened on to my blog, you will want to go back there and start at the beginning. You don't want to miss seeing or commenting on any of the girls projects because the more you comment, the greater your chances of winning one of the two $10.00 CDS gift certificates!
For my hop card, I used the "Sentimental Puppy" digi that I illustrated for Clear Dollar Stamps.
What little boy wouldn't love a puppy card? :)

The designer papers are from DCWV - "Natural" matstack.
This is what my "Sentimental Puppy" set looks like. It's available for instant download for just $2.50!

My second card Is for the new Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings challenge that starts today. The theme is "Anything Goes" and it is co-sponsored by Inky Antics.

The flower centers and stems are from Inky Antic's "Marvelous Match Up's" clear stamp set.

That's my cards for today. I hope you will click on all of the links to the companies that I have featured products for and check them out.
I would love to see you join the Really Reasonable Ribbons challenge (where you could win a fun prize from RRR or Inky Antics)  AND join us in the Clear Dollar Stamps Blog hop (where you could win one of 2 gift certificates)!
Your next stop on the hop is super talented friend Lisa's fun blog. I am sure she has something amazing to share with you!
Please remember to comment before you go to increase your chances of winning one of the random prizes from Clear Dollar Stamps!

BTW...if you missed my post from yesterday because of all of the Blogger issues, please click HERE or scroll down for more fun stuff and chances for more prizes! :)

Hugs,

Showing An Old Photo Some Well Deserved Love Today! :)

Hi Everyone!

Just a really quick post today to share a project and to wish you all a happy Good Friday! :)

Now, I'm not really known for scrapbook pages but every now and then, I'll be throwing one at ya. :)
Today I wanted to share this 12" x 12" layout that I did of my son Kurt and his best friend (at the time) Samantha. They grew up together and Sam lived to the ripe old age of about 14. They were friends for a long time. :)

The puppy dog image I used is my "Sentimental Puppy" digi that is available @ Clear Dollar Stamps for just $2.50 for an instant download!
The papers are from DCWV "Pets" stack.

The digi comes with lots of cute sentiments!

Thanks so much for dropping by!

"Purrfect Day Kitty" Another of My Digi Illustartions

Hi Everyone!
I had several of these "Purrfect Day" kitty digi images that I created for Clear Dollar Stamps colored up from when I tried, tried, and tried again for my latest Prismacolor and Gamsol video tutorial.
The video can be found HERE.
I popped in to see what was going on over @ SplitcoastStampers today and they had an adorable sketch for our inspiration. Since I already had the kitty colored, I used in and whipped my card up in a flash! :)

I love the effect that pencils and Gamsol give for coloring fur.
That pretty ribbon is Really Reasonable Ribbon's ~ Green Glitz.

If you would like these images, they are available for instant download @ Clear Dollar Stamps for just $2.50!

Thanks so much for dropping by!

Butterfly stamps and punch are by Martha Stewart.
I printed the word "JOURNAL" out with my printer.

My Christmas cards are "ALL WRAPPED UP" LOL! Flourishes ATC (FTTC47)

Hello!
Hope you have your Christmas shopping "All Wrapped UP". LOL!
Mine is finally! I procrastinated soooo badly this year.
Over @ Flourishes, they are doing their  Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC47).
They ask that we make an ATC (Artist's Trading Card). They are cute little 21/2" by 31/2" cards that you can trade, use as gift tags, or mount to a card base to make a quick greeting card.
This will be my last Christmas project of the year so it is very fitting that I used their "All Wrapped Up" set.
I is a beautiful set with lots of pretty packages in all sizes. This card is tiny so I used one of the smallest stamps.

I stamped extra images of the packages so I could pop them then added some sparkle with my Stickles that I love soooo much! The green cardstock is Bazzil Canvas and the gold id from DCWV Metallic stack.
The image was stamped with Staz-On  black and the edges were colored with Colorbox Cats eye in Lipstick. The image was water colored. The ribbons were colored with a Sharpie Gold marker.

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
Stamp With Us - Christmas
Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes!
Stamp Something - Holiday Somethings
Cupcake Craft - Celebrations
Hey...if you have not signed up for my latest blog candy...CLICK HERE to go sign up! Ends Jan. 16th.
Thanks again for stopping by!
I hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas!
Hugs,
True :)
