My "Ultimate Card Showdown" Entry

Hello!
I created today’s card for the 1st annual “2 Shetches 4 You” Ultimate Card Showdown that Kazan and Laura are putting on. It was based off of a sketch by Laura.

It is a very exciting “judged challenge”…my favorite kind!
There will be weekly eliminations of sorts, until it gets down to the winners.
This is going to be so exciting to watch!
They will be giving away some really awesome prizes too!





For this card I used a “The Greeting Farm” image that I water colored then detailed out with “Crystal Effects” and 7 colors of “Stickles”. The image is popped several times for a 3D effect. The sky has "chalked in" billowy clouds.
The papers are DCWV “Pocket Full of Posies” and “core’dinations”.
There is lots of stitching in 3 different colors and I added sparkle around the outer boarder. I then finished it off with some pretty flowers, and gem stones.

These ar really cool ink daubers. I bought one for myself and LOVE it! It has 48 different colors of ink!!!!

Here is an updated photo of the candy collection to date. I will still be adding to it. Another Mother's Day Card

Hello All!
I hope your weekend is off to a good start. I spent the entire morning in the front gardens. I have been trying to plant flowers for 3 weeks now but it has rained cats and dogs the last two. I finally got it done! Woo hoo!
I also had to make time to finish another Mother's Day card. Nothing like waiting for the last minute huh? The hard part will be trying to figure out which one to give to my mom and which to my mother-in-law. ;)

This card was made with another "The Greeting Farm" stamp. It is from the "Fancy Fleurs" set. The papers are Bazzill Dots and Basic Grey.

Pretty Frog and Flower Card

Hello,
This is another card made for my guest DT stint for "The Greeting Farm." This is from their "Down by the Pond" set. I just think it is such a cute frog! I didn't use a lot of embellishments because I wanted that pretty "Basic Grey" DP to show. The card base is Bazzill Dots.
