Hello All!
I am so excited...I can hardly contain myself!!!!
I have just officially become a freelance illustrator and
Clear Dollar Stamps is releasing 2 of my very first stamps today!!!
My stamp line is called True :D Doodles Designs. Right now my entire line consists of two very simple stamps but hold on to you hats! There will be some detailed images coming your way soon!
This will be a rather lengthy post (sorry) because I have lots of samples to show you that I have done with them. Remember, you can click on the pictures to enlarge.
For the first sample I teamed up my "
Holly Leaves" image with the beautiful Luke 2:14 sentiment from
Clear Dollar Stamp's "Christmas Scriptures" set. I used the stamp to make an embellishment to compliment this beautiful scripture by stamping it on pearlescent cardstock and cutting it out. I also stamped it several times on the designer paper and colored it with "Shimmerz" to tie it all together.
Card #1
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Can't be more my style then using a stamp from one of my own drawings! :)
Createalicious - Something for Christmas with Snowflakes and Lots of Sparkle and Glitter
Snowflakes...sparkle...glitter....check! ;)
Check! ;)
Watercolors are still my fave!
Got 'em! ;)
Yeppers! ;)
It is! ;)
Got it! :)
This next card was a quick and easy one to do. It would be very easy to mass produce for your Christmas card exchange. That is the beauty of this simple holly stamp...it paints up in a flash but looks very pretty. The next two cards have the same coloring on the image and I only used 2 colors!
Lori from Clear Dollar Stamps asked me to do a coloring
tutorial with this image and it is posted on her blog.
You can check it out by clicking
HERE.
Card #2
I am entring this card in the following Challenges:

Now to the Comment Candy Rules:
All you have to do to enter is tell me which stamp and which card (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5) that you like best and you get entered once.
If you are or become a follower you get entered twice!
You don't have to post a picture of this candy on your blog and link it back to me to win....BUT if you so choose to...to help me celebrate my first stamps being published, I will throw in a very full goodie bag of surprises! There will be stamps, embellishments and paper pads!
Don't forget to come back here and let me know you posted it on your blog!
I almost forgot...the main prize is one each of the cupcake and holly stamps and a $25 shopping spree at
Clear Dollar Stamps on me!!!
This blog candy will end Saturday, December 12th.
I was really short on time when posting this so check back in a day or two and I will have "card recipes" for these cards posted.
Please be sure and check out all of the sneak peeks the girls have posted the last few days! Just click on their names in my upper left hand sidebar under Our Clear Dollar Stamps Design Team.
Thanks and Hugs,
True :)
